Courtenay Leigh Smith will lead a yoga class to honor Share Care Global - 100% of all donations go toward Share Care Global, an organization that supports homeless families and children living in India. Donations go to building shelters, serving two hot meals a day, seven days a week. Additionally, Share Care Global provides necessary healthcare and education and a place where women and children learn to live an independent, self-sufficient lifestyle. Join the flow at the Yoga Shack's courtyard along with music and a setting sun. Suggested donation $20.

The Sarasota Farmers Market is proud to announce its summer event, on Saturday, August 19th from 9am to 2pm, corresponding with the market from 7am to 1pm. The big stage will be located on 1st Street with music from Woodstock performed by the band Paisley Craze. Also located on 1st Street will be the Manasota Aircooled V-Dubbers displaying many vintage Volkswagens, including buses. Along with many events on 1st Street, Tiny Lifestyle Homes LLC will be displaying their first tine house made locally by Brian Kelly. This is a family event and there will be kids' activities including paint your own peace sign. At 11:30am at the big stage, the best dressed 60s/70s outfits will be judged and a winner will be chosen. This is a FREE event for the community.

A joint initiative founded in 2013 by the Master Tournament, United States Golf Association and The PGA of America, the Drive, Chip, and Putt Championship is a free nationwide junior golf development competition aimed at growing the game by focusing on the three fundamental skills employed in golf. By tapping the creative and competitive spirt of girls and boys ages 7 to 15, the Drive, Chip, and Putt Championship provides aspiring junior golfers an opportunity to play with their peers in qualifiers around the country. Participants who advance through local, sub-regional, and regional qualifying in each age/gender category earn a place in the National Finals, which is conducted at Augusta National Club the Sunday before the Masters Tournaments and is broadcast live by the Golf Channel.
